We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist clients in planning their travel arrangements, offering expert advice and customized solutions to meet their needs. You will handle a variety of travel requests, from leisure vacations to business trips, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the process. Key Responsibilities: 1. Consultation & Trip Planning: • Engage with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets. • Provide detailed information about destinations, travel options, visa requirements, and accommodations. • Customize travel packages and itineraries that align with client expectations. 2. Booking & Ticketing: • Book flights, hotels, transportation, tours, and other travel services using industry tools and platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo). • Issue tickets, manage confirmations, and ensure accurate documentation. 3. Customer Service: • Offer exceptional support before, during, and after the trip to handle any changes, cancellations, or emergencies. • Resolve client concerns and provide solutions to ensure a seamless travel experience. 4. Sales & Upselling: • Promote additional services, such as travel insurance, car rentals, or tour packages to maximize sales opportunities. • Stay updated on promotional offers and deals to provide cost-effective solutions for clients. 5. Market & Destination Knowledge: • Stay informed about new travel trends, emerging destinations, and changes in regulations (visa, travel safety, etc.). • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and travel expos to enhance knowledge and skills. 6. Administration & Reporting: • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, payments, and invoices. • Prepare travel itineraries, schedules, and vouchers for client reference. • Generate sales and performance reports to track targets and performance. Skills and Qualifications: • Experience: Prior experience in travel planning or a similar role (1-3 years preferred). • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Global Distribution Systems (GDS), travel booking platforms, and MS Office. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide exceptional service to a diverse client base. • Problem-Solving: Ability to manage last-minute changes and troubleshoot travel-related issues effectively. • Sales Ability: Proven track record of meeting sales targets and upselling services.
